Equitable Commissions - Joint Policies As a friendly reminder, when taking Equitable Life & Casualty applications for husband and wife coverage, please make sure you complete two separate applications and request separate policies be issued instead of a joint policy. If a joint application is completed, be advised that the commission rate for both applicants will be based on the age of the oldest applicant. If separate applications are submitted, the applicable commission age bracket for each applicant will be applied.
