Update: Special Election Period (SEP) Enrollments Many Medicare Advantage members in competitors' plan are losing their Medicare Advantage Private Fee-for-Service plans for 2010. The is an opportunity to enroll such Medicare beneficiaries into our plans. According to CMS guidance, you may assist such members with their enrollments prior to November 1, 2009, if they contact you first, and indicate that they have received a non-renewal letter from their current Medicare Advantage plan.
